Kyoto manga readers

I was taking some pictures trying to give an idea of the size of this place and what you see here is quite common all over the museum.
You'll find solitary readers, of all ages and genders, sitting quietly reading. Often they will be sitting with a whole stack of books - probably a whole series.
Not only has manga influenced the entire Japanese culture, it's an part of the international lexicon. And it's still cool after all these years.
