Days of yore at Nara

This wonderful wooden model is constructed to give and idea of how the Todai-ji temple would have looked like in it's heyday. The model itself is a work of art, and so the most important part would have been the 'No Smoking' sign in the lower right hand corner to prevent al this work from going up in flames...it look very combustible.
