Fujiyama 富士山

One of our planet's great icons: 富士山 (Fujiyama).

The friendly chap from the Japanese magazine shop in Melbourne, Kanga Kanga, suggested that I reserve a train seat on the Mt Fuji side of the train on the way to Kyoto, and if I'm lucky, I'll see the great mountain if the weather is clear.

Well, this was the result of his advice: obviously someone who knows what he's talking about.

I must say, seeing the mountain was unexpectedly quite moving and breathtaking. Now I understand the meaning of 富士山 (Fuiji-san).
