Konnichiwa from Miyajima

Miyajima literally means 'shrine island' and from this beautiful picture (not talking about the ugly mug, but the photographing skills of my good friend Takako-san) you can understand why.
When Takako-san and myself set out for this morning trip from Hiroshima, it was a bit overcast, but after an hour or so, the sun was beautiful.
To get there, is about a 25 minute train ride on a local Hiroshima train and then a 10 minute ferry across to the island - really worth it!
