I'm in Perth for our national conference

I'm in Perth today at our national conference.

I work for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and at the moment, I'm at Government House in Perth, Western Australia at our Academic Session.

This session is the academic highlight for our College, and combines elements of graduation ceremonies with a celebration of Australian general practice and general practitioners.

We had a wonderful welcome from the local Aboriginal people, the Nyoongar people, who told a wonderful story about the local Christmas tree, that turns white in November. Magic!

Tradition is a great thing, but remember, if you do something twice in a row, it's a tradition; if you forget it once, it's dead.
