Edinburgh and the Maxwell 'freak'.

I arrived in Edinburgh and had to visit my favourite statue of James Clerk Maxwell, discoverer of electromagnetic radiation, amongst many other things.

I visited the James Clerk Maxwell Foundation last year in Edinburgh, and met a retired lecturer, Dougal, who asked me if a was a 'Maxwell freak', and I must confess, I am. I think he was one of the smartest and best scientists who ever lived (that's not me talking - those are Einstein's words), and his inventions mean that I can write this blog from a moving train, with a colour pic.

All Maxwell's doing!
