Off to work(shop) we go.

Here's Judy, Neil, Pria and Clare at Katoomba station catching a train to teach at workshops in Penrith. Many of the workshop participants will also be coming to the concert tonight, as will the master fiddler Chris Duncan and pianist Catherine Strutt.

Passing on music is critical for the survival of traditional tunes, which is why there is a big emphasis on teaching, especially to the young people.

"It takes two years to make a tradition - miss one year and it's gone."
