False evacuation alarm now over.

Sandy Bay Evacuation

So this day is getting longer and longer. I went to Woolies to pick up a few items and as soon as I walked in, the evacuation alert went on. Here we all are running for our lives - I'm just hoping all this Tim Tams are OK...

Here at UTas

Well, it took nearly an hour of running around to check in two musical instruments with QANTAS - very tiresome. Then after a windy landing in Hobart, the shuttle bus driver dropped us 2 km from the accommodation resulting in me lugging a 17kg piano accordion (no wheels - lifting!) all the way - up hill of course!

Anyway the accommodation here at The University of Tasmania is very nice and I'm already settled.

Bring on the holidays!
