Apparently this plant started as a tiny cutting.
Wow!

Moreton Bay Fig
You get occassional flying foxes roosting at night in it, and from the look of it, children.
Actually, when I think of it, you'll see secondary school students before school on their way to the next doot school. Latr in the day, there's preschool kids going walkies with their parents and/or grandparents; there'll be workers having lunch their at midday under the tree; after school kids play on their way home; early evening kids will be playing and lots of people will be picknicking next to the tree; in the evening, there'll be teenagers sitting in the tree smoking and drinking, and an occassional homeless person will sleep there with the bats at night.
So although it looks quiet, it's actually quite busy....

Remember the Myer's fire?
I took this pic from Little Bourke Street amidst dust (say those last two words five times fast...!)
Very busy building bees...

Melbourne Sky
make nice pics with the clouds...
A sunset
I took it last Thursday after choir rehearsal. I was chatting outside
and saw this sunset - it's just gorgeous!
Summer is here!
keep it going so all of my friends can see what I get up to on a daily
basis..
This is a picture of Sunday morning on my way to church. There's a
sports field behind where I live, and in summer they play cricket.
A lot of Indian students live in the area, and they're all cricket mad.
Anyhow, I thought this was a very typical Australian picture - the
light, the introduced tree, the architecture in the background and, of
course, sport.

It's a glorious day, so the racegoers are in for a good time...
